Groveport is a small town suburb of the Columbus, Ohio, area. Its land area is around 8.29 miles, but the population isn’t large at all. In the Groveport area itself you can visit The Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, which has a museum on site that details much of the Air National Guard's history in America. You can also watch the planes take off and land at the Rickenbacker National Airport. That is a fun activities that kids of all ages seem to enjoy. Plus, it's completely free!

Overall throughout the area, there are six elementary schools, three large middle schools and one big high school that holds up to 2000 students. Aric Thomas the principal of the Groveport High School is very proud of the Advanced Placement courses the school offers that gives their kids the best chance of getting into great colleges in and around Ohio. Obviously many of their students graduate, and go on to one of the biggest colleges in the area, Ohio State University. It’s only a short drive away, but has 65,000 total students that attend this popular establishment of higher learning.
