I never expected to write a piece about Baltimore using the words “pleasantly surreal” and “dreamlike.” However, this time lapse definitely paints the town that way.
Actually, the word “paints” is similarly apt. Videographer Eddie Peter Hobson captured footage from a wide variety of city landmarks and scenes—such as the USS Constellation, cherry blossoms in Mount Vernon, and outside M&T Bank Stadium—and oversaturated the colors to create a vision that’s…well, pleasantly surreal and dreamlike.
The video makes me want take a stroll around the Inner Harbor right now.
