Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs looks like it belongs in some sort of fantasy novel with its otherworldly intricate wooden design. 3. This Restaurant's Loco Waitstaff Alternative Is Off The Rails

Head over to All Aboard Restaurant & Grill in Little Rock for a dining experience unlike any other, having your food delivered by a custom made toy train. One of the first things a patron will notice when they sit down to eat is the tiny track several feet above their head. Slowly as more and more orders are filled a tiny train gets sent out carrying the goods below it as it snakes towards the correct table to make the drop. Another mechanism then lowers the food down to table level where the feast begins. Serving up typical American cuisine, like burgers, seafood baskets, and wraps, the All Aboard Restaurant & Grill is a fun place for the whole family that’s sure to please.

4. Just Wait Till you See What They're Racing Now In Arkansas

Every summer, Emerson holds the PurpleHull Pea Festival, which means it’s time for the tiller race, and not just any normal tiller race, the World Championship of Rotary Tiller Racing. On something that normally belongs in a garden, brave racers hop on the back and go full throttle, leaving it all on the 200 foot long track in as quickly as 5.59 seconds.

5. In This Race, No One Needs To Make Pit Stops

For over 30 years, the annual Mountain View Beanfest has fed hungry Arkansan bellies. It’s also home to the World Championship of Outhouse Races. Competitors pile into these people powered porta-potties, comfortably driving from the top of a toilet seat while two of their friends push the back of their vehicle.

6. Quigley's Weird "Castle" Was Into Green Living Before It Was Cool

What’s become known as “The Ozark’s Strangest Dwelling,” Quigley’s Castle isn’t really a castle in the traditional sense, rather just a really unique house. Even Mrs. Quigley didn’t really know what she wanted exactly as she started planning her dream house, only knowing she wanted to live somewhere that “felt like [she] was living in the world instead of in a box.” Slowly designed by Mrs. Quigley herself, using cardboard and matchsticks, her main goal was to bring as much nature to the inside of the house as possible, including her extensive rock collection. Now over 75 years old, the home still continues to grow and thrive, as living tropical plants continue to stretch higher inside of the house.

Snake lovers should make their way to Berryville to visit Snake World. Put together by Dale Ertel, the complex houses over 70 snakes, more than the reptile exhibit at the Little Rock Zoo. Complete with deadly snakes like the spitting cobra and the Mohave rattlesnake, Snake World is every ophidiophobe’s nightmare. Braver souls can check out what’s essentially a trailer filled with snakes for one of the most interesting animal tours in the state.

8. You’ll Just About Croak When You See This Exhibit

If reptiles are a little too intense, how about some adorable faux amphibians? Located in Eureka Springs, Frog Fantasies Museum and Gift Shop claims to be the largest collection of fake frogs in the entire world, with over 7,000 frog themed items.

9. You Could Say This Town Has A Real Chime Problem

In 2004, Eureka Springs broke the world record for the world’s largest tuned wind chimes. With the longest of the six metal tubes hanging 35 ft. 10 in. long, it crushed the previous record of a little under 17 ft. It’s been said the longest tube sounds like a mix of a the ring of a cathedral bell, the growl of a Tibetan monk, and the roar of a jet engine.

10. One Person's Ruined Resort Is An Amateur Archaeologist's Dream

Once the spot that William Hope Harvey hoped would become a booming health resort, the development of Monte Ne in Benton County experienced a series of setbacks, including financial troubles and extreme flooding, ultimately resulting in its failure. Not only did Monte Ne house the first indoor swimming pool in Arkansas, there were even plans to build a giant pyramid shaped obelisk for containment of all accumulated knowledge in the entire world—keep in mind this was the early 1900s. Today only ruins remain, much of which are submerged in Beaver Lake when it’s at its normal water level.

11. Now That's What We Call A Tall Boy

Or at least one man from Arkansas was. Local Lavaca farmer, Earl Harris, Sr. loved Budweiser so much that he decided to paint one of his silos like an old school Budweiser can. He claimed it was capable of holding 8,734,902 ounces of beer, at least that’s what the label says. That’s enough beer to give 727,908 people a can. In other words, if you drank a beer a day, it would take you around 2,000 years to drink an entire silo worth.

12. A Brief Brush With British Rock Royalty Inspired This Unique Walk Of Fame

And now there’s an art display commemorating it. Installed in 2011, local artist, Danny West, created the piece based on the artwork of the album “Abbey Road,” which featured the musicians famously crossing a street. However, instead of featuring the Beatles themselves, there are silhouettes in their place, allowing visitors to walk a few steps in the Fab Four’s shoes for a quick pic. Did we miss anything?
