Make sure everything is prepared in advance for moving day so all you need to do is load the truck and go.
Last-Minute Renovations
If there are aesthetic improvements you want to make before you move in, and you have time between your close and move in dates, now is the time to do them. Things like painting and stripping the floors are much easier to do before there is anything in your new home, so if possible, get these out of the way now.
- Paint
- Wallpaper
- Strip and refinish floors
- Replace plumbing fixtures
- Fumigate for pests
Tie Up Loose Ends
Starting a week before your move, you should make sure everything is ready to go.
