1. San Francisco\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

San Francisco<\/a>\u00a0is the number one most expensive city in the United States; however, the city is also number one on Teasley’s\u00a0list to find a rich man, number one in cupcake shops, and number one on the American Human\u00a0Development Index (AHDI).<\/p>\n

2. Portland\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Portland<\/a>\u00a0is all about food trucks, hipster tattoos, and bicycles. If you are looking for a culture that will uphold your standard for fitness, this is your city. You are the least likely of any woman in the US to die of breast cancer. It also has a male to fbale ratio so unbalanced that Portlandia makes a regular joke of it.<\/p>\n

3. San Diego\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

If you are looking for the glamour of Hollywood without all of the traffic, then\u00a0San Diego<\/a>\u00a0is the city for you, because you get all of the great weather and good looking people of Los Angeles with a culture that is centered around education instead of the movie industry.\u00a0San Diego is above all a college town with a large contingent of up and coming professionals and 115 single men to every 100 women.<\/p>\n

4. Boston<\/b><\/p>\n

The ADHI ranks\u00a0Boston<\/a>\u00a0third in lifestyle for women. Boston is also in proximity to Harvard, and even if you did not get in, you can get next to the soon to be rich guys who did at the local bars. The women to men ratio is 1.09:1, but all the men are incredibly eligible.\u00a0You can also immerse yourself in the sports culture and the outdoor life of the Middlesex Fells Reservation.<\/p>\n

5. Washington, D.C<\/b><\/p>\n

Not totally, but if you are a politically minded woman with a hot button about the pay gap, Washington, D.C.<\/a> does have the smallest gap in the nation: Women are paid 91 percent of what men earn on average for the same jobs. It also has the largest number of farmer’s markets in the area of any US metropolitan city. Staying fit is easy in Washington, D.C. as well: The culture is\u00a0about fitness. There are also 1.4 college educated men to every single woman there.<\/p>\n

6. Denver<\/b><\/p>\n

Although Denver<\/a> is definitely well known for its electronic music festival and underground digital music\u00a0culture, it has a lot going for it. It is an outdoor culture with an overwhelmingly fit population of bikers and hikers. Contrary to popular belief, Denver also has a relatively low cost of living when compared to cities with that much activity. The favorable man to woman ratio (103:100) also means that you can more easily\u00a0find a cool, fit guy to take you out for the weekend.<\/p>\n

7. Seattle\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Kurt Cobain put Seattle<\/a> on the map as the Starbucks capital of the world. The good news is that the dreary rains of Seattle hide a very sunny culture for women, including a top 10 ranking for dating, health, and bployment opportunity. The city scored as the sixth best on the AHDI scale, and 40.8 percent of its households are single people. Seattle is also great for traffic: The public transit systb is great if you hate driving, but if you need a car, the proprietary signal optimization program in the traffic lights gives Seattle a smoother traffic\u00a0flow than perhaps any large city in the US.<\/p>\n
