15. People Assume Jersey Is One Big Metropolis<\/h2>\n

Despite not even being in the same state as NYC, out-of-towners tend to think that New Jersey is basically just an extension of New York City. While this is slightly truer for towns farther North, Southern Jersey bears very little resemblance to the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

If you ask most Americans why people live in New Jersey, they\u2019ll probably respond with something along the lines of it being a cheaper alternative to Manhattan.
\nMost would be surprised to hear that being so close to New York City isn\u2019t really that big of a deal in South Jersey. The people there are perfectly happy spending all of their time in their own state.<\/p>\n

29. You\u2019ll Never Find A Bagel Quite Like Those At Home<\/h2>\n
