\nThis attraction is a staple of any tourist visit to Nebraska, but in all reality local Nebraskans love the monument, too. It\u2019s a great place to just sit and stare at one of those gorgeous Nebraska sunsets while you marvel at the wonder that is car-Stonehenge.

There are some long<\/em> stretches of highway in the Cornhusker state. It\u2019s rare that you\u2019ll get in the car and drive for just a couple of minutes\u2014most car rides, even just to the grocery store, involve at least an hour in the car.
\n When something is 10 miles away, it\u2019s considered close and the small towns are pretty far apart from one another so getting to your friends house for the night is not always easy.

Lake McConaughy, which everyone calls \u201cLake Mac,\u201d is a beautiful body of water in Nebraska. It\u2019s the largest lake in Nebraska and the largest reservoir in a four state region.
\nBecause it was built on the edge of the Nebraska Sandhills, it offers white, sandy beaches (not something you see every day in Nebraska!) It also offers fishing, boating, and camping.
\nTaking a boat out on Lake Mac at least once is a requirement for living in Nebraska.<\/p>\n
