What sets Joyland apart, aside from its family-owned friendliness, is the old antique Carousel, built in the early 1900s. Creepy? Maybe a little. But also very cool.<\/p>\n

In 2009, Texas Tech opened a huge outdoor aquatics complex, including an outdoor pool, a fifteen-foot slide, a diving board, lazy river, 20-person hot tub, a \u201cbubble couch\u201d aquatic bench with massage jets, and water volleyball and basketball areas.
