When Movoto celebrated its 5th anniversary earlier this year it dawned on us that certain parts of the site had not been touched in 5 years. The one part of the site that we see everyday, multiple times a day, is the login screen. There really wasn’t anything wrong with it, it was super functional and simple, but we were getting tired off looking at the same thing for 5 years straight. So we decided to change its look about six months ago and have been playing with it on and off ever since.<\/p>\n

In those six months much has changed on the site. We have launched a new logo<\/a>, a new Mapsearch<\/a>, a new blog, new property pages<\/a>, and the list goes on and on. So we decided to give the login screen another refresher last week. It now matches our new color scheme and fits in nicely with the new site design. So here is a look at how we arrived at the login screen as it currently stands:<\/p>\n

Login Design: Movoto.com<\/a><\/strong> <\/div>\n

We are still working on redesigning all of the pop ups on the site to look more like the new login. You can take a look at the current registration page, which also received a major face lift last week. Look for changes to the email a friend and listing alerts pop up soon. After that, we will tackle the pop up on Mapsearch. By the end of the year, the site will be bleeding orange and blue!
