\nBesides being the tallest in the United States, Baton Rouge\u2019s capitol building is particularly unique. Infamous politician Huey P. Long commissioned the building in 1928. In 1935, he was assassinated inside of it. Today, you can walk around the truly beautiful gardens outside of the capitol building and say hi to Huey P.\u2014he\u2019s buried under his memorial statue.<\/p>\n
