\nBringing up the rear as the worst rated of Colorado\u2019s biggest cities is Pueblo. Set 43 miles south of Colorado Springs, the city of Pueblo<\/a> is known for having the cheapest residential housing in the state, but if you want affordable living, consider the fact that the crime index is 112 percent higher than the Colorado average, at 5,832.<\/p>\n

9. Lakewood<\/h2>\n

\nDespite being named an All-America City for the first time in 2011, Lakewood<\/a> doesn\u2019t rank too well on the crime and safety stats.
