1. Corolla<\/h2>\n

\nComing in as the safest place to live in North Carolina is the unincorporated community of Corolla. Corolla is home to around 500 permanent residents, but during the summer it attracts thousands of visitors. The community is in Poplar Branch township, in Currituck County, along the northern Outer Banks, and has a Crime Index of 100, which is the safest it can be!<\/p>\n

2. River Bend, North Carolina<\/h2>\n

\nWith a population of around 3,150 people, River Bend is a small town. It\u2019s in Craven County and is less than ten miles from the center of New Bern. River Bend is the second safest town in North Carolina and has a Crime Index of 97.<\/p>\n

3. Marvin<\/h2>\n

\nMarvin<\/a> is a large village in Union County<\/a>, in the southeast of North Carolina. Around 5,700 people live in Marvin, and it\u2019s the third safest community in North Carolina. Marvin has a Crime Index of 96 and it\u2019s just south east of Ballantyne.<\/p>\n

4. Bald Head Island, NC<\/h2>\n

5. Topsail Beach, NC<\/h2>\n

Topsail Beach is ranked the fifth safest town in North Carolina, and has a Crime Index of 95.<\/p>\n

6. Laurel Park<\/h2>\n

\nSet in the south west of North Carolina is the town of Laurel Park<\/a>. Laurel Park is in Henderson County, about 27 miles south of Ashville. About 2,200 people live in Laurel Park enjoying its status as the sixth safest place to live in North Carolina. The Crime Index here is 94.<\/p>\n

7. Whispering Pines<\/h2>\n

\nRuffin<\/a> is just a small, unincorporated community but it has its own gold mine! Ruffin is the tenth safest community in North Carolina \u2013 the Crime Index is 93, and around 367 people call it home. Ruffin is in Rockingham County, close to the Virginia state line.
