Burdett<\/h2>\n

\nBurdett is a prime example \u2013 just 357 people live in this historic little village in Schuyler County, and crime is far from their minds. Burdett is the safest place in New York, with its Crime Index of 100 \u2013 100 being the safest \u2013 and you\u2019ll find the village on New York State Route 79.<\/p>\n

Pleasantville<\/h2>\n

\nWith a name like Pleasantville<\/a> this has got to be a nice place to live! It\u2019s the second safest place in New York so crime isn\u2019t really a problem when the Crime Index is 99. Pleasantville is a village home to around 7,000 people and it\u2019s in Westchester County, within the town of Mount Pleasant.<\/p>\n

Great Neck Estates<\/h2>\n

\nThe village of Great Neck Estates<\/a> is in the town of North Hempstead in Nassau County and it\u2019s the third safest place to live in New York. The Crime Index is 99 so there\u2019s not much crime going on for the more than 2,700 people who live here, making this a great place for families.<\/p>\n

Speculator<\/h2>\n

\nAbout 325 people live in the little village of Speculator, yet many thousands visit each year for the all season recreation. Even so, this is still the fourth safest place in New York and has a Crime Index of 99. Speculator is set within the beautiful Adirondack Park.<\/p>\n

Sinclairville<\/h2>\n

Right in the west of New York State is the village of Sinclairville, just a little way north of the city of Jamestown. Sinclairville has a population of around 590 people and a Crime Index of 98, making it the fifth safest city in New York.<\/p>\n

Vermontville<\/h2>\n

\nVermontville was named by settlers from neighboring Vermont in the 19th century. Today it\u2019s just a hamlet but has around 2,500 people living within its borders. Vermontville is close to the state line with Vermont, in Franklin County, and it\u2019s the sixth safest community in New York State with a Crime Index of 98.<\/p>\n

Tuckahoe<\/h2>\n

\nTuckahoe<\/a> village is right in the south of New York State, in Westchester County. It\u2019s a prime commuting village being only around 30 minutes from New York City\u2019s Grand Central Terminal, and it\u2019s a safe place to live too. Ranked seventh safest in New York, Tuckahoe has a Crime index of 98 and is home to nearly 6,500 people.<\/p>\n

Oyster Bay Cove<\/h2>\n

The Village of Oyster Bay Cove<\/a> is known as an affluent community and it\u2019s also one of the safest in the state. Oyster Bay Cove comes in with a Crime Index of 98 and is the eighth safest place to live in New York State. Located within the Town of Oyster Bay, in Nassau County, the village has a scenic setting on the water.<\/p>\n

Golden\u2019s Bridge<\/h2>\n

\nAbout 1,600 people live in the hamlet of Golden\u2019s Bridge<\/a>, within the town of Lewisboro in Westchester County. Rocky hills, plenty of forest, and being close to rivers and lakes makes Golden\u2019s Bridge a scenic place to call home, and it\u2019s safe too. The crime index is 98 and it\u2019s ranked the ninth safest place in New York.<\/p>\n
