The diverse ethnic mix of Miami\u2019s population has gone a long way to define the eclectic range of restaurants. The city is especially famous for its Latin American cuisine, and there are plenty of influences from the nearby Caribbean too. Combine both of these with the more typical American cuisine that you find in most U.S. cities and you get a unique South Floridian style of cooking known as Floribbean.<br \/>\nCuban restaurants are plentiful and some would argue the best Miami neighborhood for an authentic Cuban meal would have to be Little Havana. Try the infamous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.versaillesrestaurant.com\/\">Versailles Restaurant<\/a> for an authentic and reasonably priced Cuban meal as this is where many of the locals go.<br \/>\nBeing on the ocean, seafood is also popular and out of around 70 seafood restaurants to choose from <a href=\"http:\/\/trulucks.com\/pages\/miami-florida\">Truluck\u2019s<\/a> is always a popular choice.<br \/>\n<\/br><\/p>\n<h2>Miami\u2019s Art Deco Architecture<\/h2>\n<p>Among the features Miami is best known for is its art deco architecture and there\u2019s no better place to see this than the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Miami_Beach_Architectural_District\">Art Deco District<\/a>. Strictly speaking this historic district is located within South Beach, a neighborhood of Miami Beach not Miami, but it\u2019s such a cool place that it\u2019s worth mentioning anyway. There are 960 historic buildings here, featuring fabulous art deco architecture and there are even numerous cars from the period too.<br \/>\n<\/br><\/p>\n<h2>Parks and Beaches<\/h2>\n<p><div style=\"width: 260px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/movotoblog\/2013\/05\/images\/Miami+Zoo.jpg\" title=\"Miami Zoo\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Wikipedia.<\/p><\/div>Some of the best beaches are also in South Beach but you don\u2019t need to head across the Causeway for great parks. With the warm weather you can enjoy the outdoors all year round in centrally located parks like Bicentennial, and Bayfront, or walk amidst the tropical plants at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairchildgarden.org\/\">Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden<\/a>. There\u2019s lots of family fun plus flora and fauna to discover at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jungleisland.com\/\">Jungle Island<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamimetrozoo.com\/\">Zoo Miami<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/miamiseaquarium.com\/\">Miami Seaquarium<\/a> too.<br \/>\n<\/br><\/p>\n<h2>Miami\u2019s Museums<\/h2>\n<p>While you may not think of Miami as being a city that\u2019s hot for museum lovers the \u2018Magic City\u2019 does actually have many excellent Downtown museums. Family favorites include <a href=\"http:\/\/miamichildrensmuseum.org\/\">Miami Children\u2019s Museum<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamisci.org\/\">Miami Science Museum<\/a>, while art lovers can take their pick from the <a href=\"http:\/\/thefrost.fiu.edu\/\">Frost Art Museum<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamiartmuseum.org\/home.asp\">Miami Art Museum.<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.historymiami.org\/\">HistoryMiami<\/a> is another cultural institution that will appeal to many different ages, focusing on the history of Miami and southeastern Florida as a whole.<br \/>\n<\/br><\/p>\n<h2>Nightlife and Entertainment<\/h2>\n<p>Miami is also known for its vibrant nightlife and ample entertainment. Music is an important part of the culture and like the cultural roots of its residents the music is eclectic and varied. From the Cuban conga and rumba to the Miami disco sound and the modern-day techno and dance scene, Miami has seen many different genres of music.
