The availability of year-around sunshine and an average annual temperature of 82 degrees has made Orlando a great place to visit, and also a great place to live. Located along the shore of Lake Eola is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.relaxgrill.com\/\">Relax Grill<\/a>. Considered by many locals to be Orlando\u2019s most lovely and inviting spot, Relax Grill offers a magnificent view of the lake and a menu that combines the best of American, Middle Eastern and Greek cuisines. Because the area offers so many amenities, condominiums and well known businesses, South Eola is a destination where you can \u201cTaste it, do it, live it, and earn it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Central Business District<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Located adjacent to South Eola is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.downtownorlando.com\/\">Orlando\u2019s Central Business District<\/a>. While this is commonly known as the heart of the Orlando\u2019s business and commerce, it\u2019s not all business. In fact, Orlando\u2019s Central Business District (known by the locals as the CBD) is home to a fantastic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandofarmersmarket.com\/\">farmer\u2019s market<\/a>, and the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/orlandofilmfest.com\/\">Orlando Film Festival<\/a>. The CBD is well known for its arts community; Orlando\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityoforlando.net\/fpr\/html\/Parks\/LochHavenPk.htm\">Loch Haven Park<\/a> is home to Orlando\u2019s Philharmonic Orchestra, Orlando\u2019s Shakespeare Festival, and the Orlando Museum of Art. Thornton Park has a very cosmopolitan feel to it and is home to fine dining restaurants, fashion boutiques and fabulous condominiums such as <a href=\"http:\/\/sanctuarycondominium.com\/\">The Sanctuary<\/a> and The Waverly. Thornton Park always has a steady influx of young professionals and urbanites who appreciate this luxurious neighborhood. A couple of popular stops in Thornton Park are the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityfishorlando.com\/index.htm\">CityFish<\/a> Restaurant and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.virginolivemarket.com\/\">The Virgin Olive Market<\/a>. Known to the locals as \u201cThe Neighborhood Noshery,\u201d The Virgin Olive Market is a great eat-in or take-out establishment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Lake Eola Heights<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Lake Eola Heights was officially designated a local historic district in 1989. It\u2019s also listed on the <a href=\"http:\/\/nrhp.focus.nps.gov\/natregsearchresult.do?fullresult=true&amp;recordid=0\">U.S. National Register of Historic Places<\/a>. Covering an area of approximately 38 city blocks, Lake Eola Heights offers a fantastic mix of old style architecture and modern living. Lake Eola Heights is a place of living history; home to such famous places as the <a href=\"http:\/\/kerouacproject.org\/\">Jack Kerouac House<\/a>, the Firestone Tire &amp; Rubber Company Building, and the old Orlando Railroad Building.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">East Central Park<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Only two miles away from downtown Orlando and the Central Business district, East Central Park is a hidden residential gem that features some great places to visit and \u201cjust hang out at.\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peteysnypizza.com\/\">Petey&#8217;s NY Pizza <\/a>is widely regarded as Orlando&#8217;s best Italian dining experience.
