If you’re in the mood for a little candy, it doesn’t get better than Donckers. Their signature creation is a chocolate dipped caramel topped with sea salt. It’s seriously impossible to eat just one.

If you’re in the Hancock area, make sure you don’t miss 4 Suns. A seasonal restaurant that’s part of Peterson’s Fish Market, the kitchen at 4 Suns makes the best fish and chips in the state.
The menu is simple, you either get your whitefish baked or fried, put on a sandwich or in a basket, and then pick with one of several potato sides. But take note: 4 Suns isn’t open year round. It’s closed in the colder months. But it’s worth making plans for. And you’ll crave it all winter long.
