As a pet friendly city, Birmingham has plenty of fun for your favorite pooch. The dog parks in the city host many of the same basic features, but they are all unique and exceptional in their own way. Below are some of the best examples of dog parks in Birmingham with all of the relevant information that you need to have a great time with Fido.

The property is perhaps the most centrally located of all of the dog parks on the list. Loch Haven is always busy, but because it is so spacious, you still have plenty of private space for your pet. The park is right beside the Galleria and the Summit, so you can run errands at the same time that you take your dog out to play. Parking is a breeze ever since a second lot was added, so you never have to worry about accommodations when you patronize the park.
There are many different sections to Loch Haven. The first is a soccer field for running, Frisbee, tossing balls, etc. The second area consists of a walking trail. The third is centered around water, so if your dog likes to swim, you have am exciting choice here! Near the walking trails is an agility center for specialized workouts. The park is also split to accommodate dogs of different sizes with plenty of benches for owners to sit on while the dogs run about. Finally, Loch Haven provides owners with waste bags to clean up after Fido for no extra charge.

The park has a large, central greenery with a flat, grassy area for running your dog. The walking track is flanked by picnic tables for sitting or taking a quick snack break. The feature is the playground that provides owners and dogs with plenty of obstacles to climb on and run through.

There is a separation between the park for large dogs and small dogs, with an off leash area in both sections. The owners of the park recently extended the walking trail. Around the edge of the park is a creek that encourages dogs to splash around.
The park is right off of Walker Chapel Road and is quite accessible to busy people who are looking for a quick detour for their pets. Fultondale is usually incredibly clean as well because the park has waste bags like Loch Haven.

This park is part of a larger dog training business that uses the facilities to great effect. However, you can try out the facilities without signing up for the training program. However, the training is officially certified by AKC standards, including the S.T.A.R. puppy standard and the Canine Good Citizen standard for adult dogs.
RoverChase is the largest indoor dog park in the entire city of Birmingham. With 10,000 square feet of room and every luxury dog amenity that you can think of, RoverChase is a haven for your dog. It is a private, members only park, but the cost is well worth it.
The park itself is sanitized twice a day against bacteria and viruses. The entire dog park is off leash, and there are plenty of toys, including volleyballs, balance beams, jumping fences and other obstacle course elements.

This three acre park is built around being as natural an environment as possible. The outside is quite spacious, especially for small dogs. There is a sister boarding and training program that you can enroll your dog in, even if your dog is a senior citizen. Training programs will take your dog through the entire obstacle course that Cahala Beach has set up. This course includes balance beams, hoops, and jump fences.
Cahala is a private dog park, so you need a membership for your dog to enter. The other services such as vaccinations and medical examinations may also be a great benefit for dog owners who are looking for a safe and healthy environment for their dogs. You can also board your pets here if you are going on a long out of town trip. The boarders are certified vets with years of experience caring for dogs.
