Because the Golden Gate Bridge is so iconic (and a beautiful feat of human engineering), countless action movies just couldn’t resist making it the setting of some of the most dramatic scenes of catastrophe.
This supercut of such scenes gives me a strange sort of pride to be living in the San Francisco Bay Area, although it seems that that means higher risk of death by gigantic monster or aliens. I also love that the video is set to narration from a factual documentary.
