Football season is in high gear, but there’s a whole segment of teams that doesn’t get close to the level of attention the NFL and college teams do. They play “Six-Man,” which was created to enable smaller schools to still field teams and compete.
This video shows the lead-up to and the subsequent clash between two North Texas teams at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, for the state crown. The action was non-stop and the scoring high (the norm for six-man), and the winning players came away with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that’ll establish them as “legends” in their hometown. It’s an inspiring story.
