Get ready for something wild. Sam O’Hare’s “The Sandpit” is a perfect example of “tilt shift”—a photographic technique that makes a real-life scene look like a tabletop model—and it’s a view of New York City that you’ll never forget.
I was flabbergasted watching helicopters dart around like dragonflies (starting at 0:30). At 3:30, I was in awe to see traffic and pedestrians scurrying around, while others pushing equipment between them at curbside—all looking like a toy box came to life. And the couple doing Tai Chi as traffic rumbles above them (at 4:07)…well, that’s when my jaw to hit the floor.
I can’t stop playing this awesome video over and over.
