“As the crow flies” usually describes point-to-point distance, but that same phrase works here to explain the point of view you get of New York City via this awesome radio-controlled drone video.
The section at 0:41—which starts where 5th Avenue meets Washington Square Park, then pulls back through the arch and past the fountain—will just blow your mind.
If you’re like me, you’ll want to watch it a few times to take in all the sights.
