“Painting the roses red, and many a tear we shed, because we know, they’ll cease to grow; in fact, they’ll soon be dead… And yet we go ahead, painting the roses red…”
This’s what kept coming to mind as I watched this mesmerizing video. I felt as though I was falling down the rabbit hole into a beautiful, yet slightly alarming world, but it was actually Philadelphia. It’s only more stunning because the video isn’t animated; it’s real.
Bruce W. Berry used an infrared camera to create this after seeing the stunning opening sequence of “Star Trek Into Darkness” set on an alien world. The result is that you’ll never look at Philadelphia the same way again.
