It’s ironic, but this time lapse of Nebraska puts you at odds with computers. Watch it, and feel as though this screen is keeping you from the beauty of the great outdoors.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, though. Daniel Kelly Brown’s five-day project of capturing the landscapes of Mullen, Nebraska, did make captivating use of technology—just check out the thunderstorm 40 seconds in. But in so doing, you do itch for the simple entertainment of climbing trees, catching fireflies, and watching clouds.
Go out on an outdoor adventure, and then tell us about it. That seems like the best compromise.
