Las Vegas is already a big enough spectacle to fill any video with wow, but capture it in a time lapse, and you can multiply that by 10.
Javier Baca recorded video all around Vegas. His use of tilt shift—a photographic technique that makes a real-life scene look like a model—makes the Venetian gondolas at the start look like they’re toys in a bathtub. My favorite segments are the ones with the Bellagio fountains looking like they’re dancing flames (0:54 and 3:25).
