COVID-19: How Movoto is Keeping You Safe

In these unprecedented times, Movoto maintains its commitment to putting our agents, customers, employees, and communities first.

With the advent of COVID-19 and the uncertainty and fear that it has brought to our communities, Movoto is committed to keeping our customers, agents, employees, and partners safe. Social distancing measures have forced us to be apart, but we’re doing everything we can to make sure we can still come together to support each other, our community, and beyond.

Ensuring the safety of our agents and customers is our biggest priority, which is why we have put measures in place to keep everyone protected while enabling them to move forward with their home buying and selling goals with as little disruption as possible. We appreciate the patience, camaraderie, resilience, and ingenuity we have seen from our Movoto family during this time.

Keeping Our Customers Safe During COVID-19

Being a technology-enabled brokerage has always been the focus at Movoto. Even during ordinary times, it has been pivotal in allowing our customers to connect with agents, conduct research, find homes, and understand their market. With social distancing in place, the technology we rely on daily has become even more instrumental in allowing our customers to conduct business as usual without ever leaving their homes.

We have a strict commitment to following government protocols requiring us to stay indoors and away from others, and we have enabled our agents with the tools and training to conduct a 100% virtual tour experience, keeping our team and you and your loved ones safe. You can “visit” homes you’re interested in virtually by viewing categorized image galleries for easier navigation. If you’re selling, your agent can keep potential buyers in the loop by sharing virtual tours of your property and continuing to nurture interested clients through the Movoto Agent App.

We’re even more dedicated to keeping all our listings as up-to-date as possible, by ensuring our databases reflect the most recent prices, listing statuses, and property details. Start your home search on movoto.com today!

Supporting Our Agents

We have always been dedicated to being there to help our agents with professional development opportunities, marketing support, transaction support, and to address any questions and concerns. We’ve ramped up those efforts during this time to ensure they feel supported and heard.

We’ve expanded our agent communications to include weekly meetings where we discuss the latest news and regulations that impact agents, including:

  • What we’re doing to adhere to the Coronavirus Relief Bill (CARES Act) and outlining what it means for our agents.
  • Instituting a set of rules for all our brokerage agents in California and Nevada that adheres to the latest NAR, CAR, and NVAR guidelines.
  • Keeping agents updated on Movoto’s latest advancements that can help them conduct business without risking anyone’s safety, and training agents on how to utilize them.

Movoto has also made a strong push to develop and release new digital tools and features that can help agents manage their business virtually. These include new features that enable them to conduct virtual tours and organize listings for better digital navigability. Plus our new Social Sphere tool allows agents to gain new client connections that expand their digital marketing to improve their visibility and connectivity.

A Business Built to Weather the Storm of COVID-19

We understand that real estate is personal, so agents are facing an especially daunting challenge during this time. This situation has given Movoto an opportunity to ensure our tools are built to help agents weather any crisis and to do the important work of troubleshooting and making critical improvements to our offerings so they provide even more value.

We understand that real estate is personal, so agents are facing an especially daunting challenge during this time. This situation has given Movoto an opportunity to ensure our tools are built to help agents weather any crisis and to do the important work of troubleshooting and making critical improvements to our offerings so they provide even more value.

Our CEO, Imtiyaz Haque, has reached out to all our partners to affirm that we are here to support them during these tough times. Agents are continuing to receive guidance and advice from our team of marketing and transaction coordination experts. We already had a 50% work from home rate before COVID-19, so it was a simple transition to move to a 100% remote work week as mandated by the government to curb the spread of the virus. We continue to rely on our AI-enabled technology to guide agents in pivoting their messaging, adjusting the best times to reach out to clients, and capturing marketing opportunities.

Movoto continues to innovate, and we have seen record business revenue since this time last year. With iBuyers leaving the market, and interest rates at an all time low, this is a great opportunity for those in the market to purchase real estate.

It’s important to remember that we are in this together. Movoto cares about everyone’s safety, and we’re doing everything we can to keep our community healthy with as little disruption as possible. We’re making every effort to protect everyone and keep business running as usual—the only difference is we get to do it now in our favorite set of pajamas.
