The Mile High City and capital of gorgeous Colorado is unstoppable, and so are these clever radio personalities who came up with this catchy rendition of a billboard-smashing song we all know.
This ode to Denver’s greatness covers almost all my favorite aspects of the city, from clean air and mountain views to sports teams with serious stadium cred. The best lyrics are at 0:48 (TRUE!) and 1:41 (BTW, can we make Elway mayor of Denver already? Who’s with me?).
I don’t think I’ll be able to hear anything but this version in my head every time “Empire State of Mind” comes on, but I’m actually totally fine with that.
