“There are plenty of reasons to feel good about Winston-Salem,” says the manager of Camel City Goods, a unique store for t-shirts and other wares that focus on the city’s history.
Whether it’s that the Reynolds Building was the design inspiration for New York’s Empire State Building, that magician/escape artist Harry Houdini performed there, or other tidbits of W-S trivia, the store enables current and former residents alike to literally wear their hometown pride on their sleeves.
