Many big-name musicians dedicate time to charitable pursuits. In this fantastic video, Rodney Atkins teamed with Musicians On Call to visit the VA Hospital in Nashville. Musicians On Call is a non-profit group that brings live and recorded music to hospital patients.
Watching Atkins talking about the experience—and seeing the grateful reaction from the veterans he’s playing for—it’s tough not to get a lump in your throat. Kudos to him for bringing some cheer to those in need.
