Can you believe that a guy built a detailed model of Waikiki Marina, and then crafted a time-lapse video of it, so he could bring it to life for everyone to see?
Okay, he didn’t do that. He actually used a photography technique called “tilt shift,” which makes a scene appear as if it’s a miniaturized replica. And Waikiki Marina in this video looks tiny enough to fit in your pocket. Of course, you’ll have to pay to launder out the salt-water stains.
Still, I want to spend a few days sailing around that scaled-down world, cruising for…supermodels. (wink)
