It’s a well-known thing in San Francisco: Rice-A-Roni, that sub-par microwavable rice, calls itself the “San Francisco treat” when, really, none of us buys or eats it. Well, get ready San Francisco. This awkward video of Steven Reed cooking the rice is the hilarious revenge we deserve!
Reed means well but, alas, this video is so deadpan and creepy, it will make you first squirm around in your chair and then roar in laughter. Finally, San Francisco gets to laugh in the face of Rice-A-Roni. This, unlike their basmati or wild mushroom rice, is the true treat we have all been waiting for.
