Say what?! Seattle has an accent? The South, Midwest, Jersey, Brooklyn, Boston—these are American locales famous for having an accent. Seattle? Not so much. That’s what makes this news report so fun to watch.
Sure, the accent isn’t too thick. Still it’s totally hilarious seeing the Seattle residents first say that they have no accent whatsoever and then later seeing them getting tripped up over words like “bag” and “egg.”
You’ve got to see it (or, more specifically, hear it) to believe it.
