I’m still smiling uncontrollably after watching this video. I usually think of Washington, D.C. as such a stressful place, but seeing its residents sing and dance to that inescapable earworm “Happy” has totally changed my point of view.
You can see landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial at 1:44 and Washington Monument at 2:23, but the true stars of this infectious video by Ward 8 Studios are the real people of D.C. They show how much they love their historic city with every twirl, side-step, and smile.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some dancing to do.
