I am a current parent of 2 students at St. John's school. St. John's has great teachers and a dedicated support staff. It has a new multipurpose room for volleyball, wrestling and other events showing that the school is still committed to providing new infrastructure for education of its students. It also provides a great character education along with the schoolwork, and it shows in the students who graduate and succeed from St. John's.Read Full Review

I don't feel that St John's is a great school. The teachers and parents are cold and rude. I will be pulling my children out. the teachers do not help parents, if there is an issue. they do not work with you. they think they have eyes on the back of their heads. these teachers do not they are blind. I as a parent has seen more that goes on and tried to correct it then the staff. Not a good schoolRead Full Review

I am a former student of St. John's school and i think that it is great. It's a great opportunity for your child to go to a Catholic school in Independence. It has very good dicipline. Some of the teachers are good, while others are not so good, but you'll have that. The extracuricular activities are great. They allow students to get involved in sports and band at a young age. They have games scheduled to play against other Catholic schools, then at the end of the year there is a tournament in each sport. The school offers: Softball, Baseball, Volleyball, Wrestling, basketball, and band. You can also go over to the public school to play football, track, and crosscountry if you please. The activities excell also, because they have great coaches. This school also prepares you for highschool very well. So send your kids to St. John's, it's worth it!Read Full Review

This is a great school and i recomend that your children be sent there. The only thing it lacks is students. It is a k-8 school, with just over 100 kids, it would be great to see more students attend St. John's School.Read Full Review
