Great Christian values! Firm discipline of students and respect for others. Parents have opportunities to volunteer. We love getting to know new families and made some really great friends. There are children from many denominations. Academics are STRONG. Students test 2+ yrs beyond their grade level on ITBS tests. The transition to public school has been good. Grads from CCS have gone on to public school and they excel among their peers. Many Valedictorians, Class Pres, and Student Body Pres. We have grads with the lead in the HS musicals. CCS offers band for students. Several have been in the Karl King Honor Band. They also have vocal music, sports and cheerleading. All children who go out for a sport get to play. Class sizes are limited, so there is more individual care. There are a few new teachers this year and a new Dean of Students. CCS also has Golden Apple award-winning teachers. All of the teachers challenge their students academically to do their best. The school is currently in the same building with First Evangelical Free Church, but they are looking to move to a separate building in the future. School Bd, Staff and Development have a great vision for the school! Read Full Review

This is a school that not only emphasizes academic excellence, but equally stresses godly character traits, all done in a loving environment. Although it is small, it is mighty. Students are taught to care for younger students, learn to be comfortable in public speaking, and care for each other as family - all positives of the smaller student population. In 2008 the public high school's graduating class's valedictorian, senior class president, and student body president were all CCS graduates. The staff knows each student individually and pushes them to become the best that they can be for the glory of God.Read Full Review

Our children attended. Fantastic value for the money spent. Excellent Biblically based curriculum. Academics and test scores excellent. Former students have become the leaders when transferring to the public high school. Teachers who care about each student and help them excel. Great parental involvement. Extracurriculars include sports, drama, art and field trips. Read Full Review
