My kids love this school!! The Principal until school year 2012 needed a refresher in how to deal with parents....now we have a new principal, lets see how he does. They have done some construction and now have a wonderful lunchroom and an amazing library! Great teachers are all the rave at this elementary school and we have been very pleased! Read Full Review

The principal is very rude towards parents and their involvement. It is almost like she discourages parents to be close to their children.Read Full Review

Longfellow is a great school. They are always having fun family activities such as reading on the lawn or come read in your pajamas while enjoying pizza, they also have an annual carnival that is a huge hit for the kids. The teashers are great and the principal is very involved. I also have a child with downsyndrome and they are great with him. It is like a 2nd family. It is located in a great neighborhood as well!Read Full Review

We recently tranferred from Ca. and my girls really didn't want to leave their school behind...But they now love their teachers and the school...Some of the office staff could stand to learn a few manners but for everyone else it is a great school and I am glad my daughters made some new friends and enjoy being here in such a short time. My daughter has attended several preschool programs and has attended Longfellow for five years. The principal and staff are very friendly to everyone and address the students by name. They are constantly having school-wide activities for the whole family to participate in such as Read-on-the-Lawn and ice cream socials. I couldn't be happier with the way this school is run and with the adults who run it. They really care about the kids and it shows! Read Full Review

My son had to transfer from this school due to an out of state move. Almost a year later he would love to return to this school. The adults that run this school are all kind caring people who love kids and genuinly enjoy them. Read Full Review
