David Madsen

David started his career in financial planning. He obtained his Health and Life Insurance License, and Series 6, 63, and 7 Securities Licenses. In 1997 he obtained his real estate license, actively closing real estate and loans. Utilizing experience from his financial planning and investment history, investment real estate was a natural fit. David began his real estate experience with multifamily property and first time home buyers. The needs of clientele expanded into land development, commercial, wholesale properties, and foreclosures. Understanding that a home is the largest investment most people make in their lifetime, David pays close attention to ensure that it is the best investment possible for his clients. David has been involved in short sale work for ten years. The Utah Real Estate Investors Association recently awarded him with the accolade of “Short Seller of the Year.” He believes short sales offer a great opportunity to turn around a negative financial situation where both buyer and seller win. David lives by the credo, “what goes around comes around.” He values his principles, his reputation, and his relationships. David is the Principal Broker and owner of Thornton Walker, Inc. Thornton Walker specializes in finding the best deal for its clients. Originally from Utah County, he now resides in Millcreek with his wife and 5 children.
