David Burnham

Originally from Saratoga Springs, New York, I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. After graduation, I spent several years working as an Environmental Educator in Upstate New York before taking a job with Capital One. I spent 9 years working in the marketing department at Capital One, including two years living and working In South Africa to help provide housing for the underprivileged. I continued my career at Fannie Mae, where I gained valuable experience understanding the dynamics of the real estate market.

Over the past 7 years, I have bought and sold several properties in the Washington DC metropolitan region, including a rental property and a fixer upper on Capitol Hill. I moved to Capitol Hill in 2004. Coming from a small town, I never really expected to feel so at home here. However, I quickly found out that Capitol Hill is like a small town within DC. I enjoy getting to know my neighbors and patronizing local businesses. I love being able to walk everywhere. Capitol Hill turned out to be a great fit for me and my family and I am proud to not only live here but work here, as well.
