A Castle in Sunny Spain, Anyone?

We’ve become fond of the Wall Street Journal’s fantasy-real-estate-porn feature “Europe House of the Day“.   These homes are epically gorgeous, but not at all in the same vein as “gorgeous” homes in the New (or should we say “nouveau”?) World.   Sure, we’ve got islands for sale in the middle of the San Francisco Bay, homes of devastatingly handsome movie-stars, astronomically high-priced pads in Pacific Heights – but somehow it’s just not the same.  Once in a while, we need a transfusion of old-world charm and hardcore historical value.
