The Prime Rib is probably the best thing on the menu, a melt-in-your-mouth steak paired perfectly with a homemade steak sauce. If it’s your first time through the doors, it’s recommended that you try the 4 beer sampler to narrow down a favorite.

It doesn’t get more Southern than chicken & waffles and there’s no better place to get them than from Dame’s. Not only do the many types of waffles come with many types of chicken, they also come with a delicious flavored shmear that really works to complete the meal.
One of the fan favorites is the “Quilted Buttercup,” which is a chicken cutlet sandwiched between two sweet potato waffles served with a side of maple-pecan shmear.

The name might be a bit deceiving, but the menu actually has a ton of options that aren’t chicken based like the very popular quinoa stuffed avocados. You’d be hard pressed to find another place like this anywhere in North Carolina.
