We launched a new version of our property pages this week. The page now has a two column design that emphasizes a continuous flow of house information.
We kept everything we had previously and spruced it up with:
- Steady two column design
- A views counter
- Breadcrumbs
- Search controls
Steady Two Column Design: We removed the buttons from below the property description and moved them to the top right. We also added a defining line between the house information and the right hand column of additional tools and information. It now gives your eye an easy way to travel down the page.
View Counter: Want to know what the hottest property on the block is? Check out the view counter right above the blue buttons. You can now see how many views a particular property has had on our site.
Breadcrumbs: With a breadcrumb, much like Hansel and Gretel, you’ll never get lost because you know exactly where you came from. Breadcrumbs let you easily get back to the more important parts of the site.
Search Controls: Just got to the page from Mapsearch and don’t want to go hit back to that beautiful page? That’s fine with us, just hit Next! Once you discover this nifty guy, you’ll be hooked.
There are various other changes down the rest of the page, but it’s no fun if I tell you about all of them. Go check ‘em out!
P.S. – We are probably going to tinker around with the design for the next little bit, so don’t be surprised if you see some new features or layouts over the next couple of weeks.
We also added a new Home Value Estimate feature to the site. This feature allows sellers, and anyone interested in the value of their home, to talk to a local Movoto real estate agent about valuing their home or property.
Until next time, Happy House Hunting!
