Prior to becoming a real estate agent in 2008 Ms. Kirk was a restaurant owner in Carrollton, Tx. with 20+ years back round in the credit and collection industry. Her passion for the housing market made changing careers a smooth transition. Her extensive credit back round as well as her tenacious "can do" attitude compliments this competitive industry in order to maximize her client's purchase and/or sale of real estate. Interests: Fishing is my #1 passion next to Real Estate. Give me a Zebco 33 and a box of worms or minnows and I will fish all day. Seniors and children hold a special place in my heart. Working with Metrocrest Services in my area allows me to help both. And then there's houses. I love them all. From the ugly house to the million dollar home. In my spare time I am guilty of looking at homes and touring open houses.

Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with.
I had a property in Dallas, Texas that I just couldn't seem to sell. After talking with Jennifer, I feel she made it her personal mission to sell my property as close to my asking price as possible. She did a great job of keeping me updated on showings and offers. I was satisfied with the experience overall, and I would definitely recommend her.

It was a pleasure to meet her. She really is helping me n family out to buy this house. She really knows what she's doin. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for a house.

Fast & professional
Jennifer was quick to respond to my inquiry via Movoto and made the experience very pleasant. She showed me the condo and we wrote an offer on the spot. Even though I didn't get the house, she really made it quick and easy to navigate.

How do you help buyers to find the right properties for them?
Years ago a mentor told me that if you listen more than you speak you will be successful. I have found this to be true especially with buyers. If I listen to their wants and needs and customize a search specifically for them the homes they are viewing are a match for them.
How do you make sure buyers get the best price for the property they are interested in?
Staying in tune with current market conditions in the neighborhoods my buyers are interested in. Researching statistics for recent active and sold properties can show us the recent trends in the market. Communicating with the seller's agent can give me helpful insight as far as activity and feedback from other interested buyers. The more knowledge we have about a property the easier it is to make sure we buy it for the right price.
What do you do to help market the properties your clients are selling?
You've heard the saying a picture is worth a thousand words.Buyer's are visual so it's important that I assist them with staging a home to get the best possible photo's to show off it's features. Professional pictures are a must. Marketing strategies include networking with groups of agents, internet advertisement, open houses etc. Each client is different so we will form a marketing strategy that they are comfortable with.
How do you ensure your sellers get the highest price?
We use a current market analysis to tell us what we can expect to sell a property for. But it goes farther than that. Curb appeal is important a manicured yard will attract more showings then one with grass a foot high. Minor repairs, fresh paint can make the difference of thousands at the closing table.
What do you recommend sellers do to make sure their selling process is smooth?
Go over offers with your Realtor. Ask questions. And remember the net amount is the most important than the offer price or seller concessions. Have a plan and a back up plan. Moving is stressful. So it's a good idea to have a few choices available after your property goes under contract. Sometimes temporary housing is necessary or you may choose to lease your property back from the buyer for a few days or maybe a week or 2.
