James Sommers first moved to Florida with his family in 1989, when his father retired from the Washington D.C. Police Department. Over the next 20+ years, he lived across all areas of Lee County, where he gained a wealth of knowledge about the treasures of SW Florida.
The outdoors is the reason why James chose to live in Lee County. In fact his passion for the outdoors incudes volunteering with Lee County Parks and Recreation as a naturalist interpreter at Bunche Beach on Fort Myers beach. He is a tour guide explaining the history and natural ecosystems of this area. His favorite tour, entitled “low tide loafing”, explains the Calusa Indians, birds, mangroves, and sea shells.
James is working on a Florida Master Naturalist program, so he can expand his knowledge and provide the best information to new and current residents, encouraging them to enjoy and protect their home.
James has been a full time Realtor since 2003. Nearly 10 years of experience in real estate motivates James to make you his #1 priority! His goal is to make your decision on either selling or buying a home, an exciting and rewarding one. Look to James’s for energy and enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise!
