About Aimee

If you spend any time with Aimee, you will immediately feel comfortable with her friendly and outgoing personality. Anyone who has known or worked with her will tell you that she has possessed these traits throughout her life. She started her career selling cellular phones, but quickly worked her way into a management position for Action Cellular and then as regional manager for Absolute Wireless. After several years developing and growing a successful business, and after the birth of her second daughter, Aimee decided to change careers and took a position as a project manager for a large data company. After the "telcom bust" of the late 1990's, the company was unable to stay profitable and had to layoff off the majority of their workforce. Aimee spent the next two years raising her two daughters. After several years as a stay-at-home mom, Aimee decided to turn her lifelong passion for real estate into a career. As she was getting her Realtor's License, Aimee found herself prospecting like a true veteran. Aimee earned her license and immediately found that Real Estate was where she belonged. Aimee beat out over 100 agents in a nationally recognized franchise by earning Rookie of the Year. She has since gone on to achieve higher levels of success. In Aimee's rare free moments, she enjoys hanging out with her two girls and husband. When time allows, golfing, going to the beach and skiing are fun activities she loves to do. However, no matter what she's doing, Aimee always has part of her brain thinking about the next real estate venture.

Megan was great!!
We were very lucky to have Megan as our agent. There were a lot of issues (on the seller's side) and Megan kept us up to date and well informed on everything. She went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy/sell a property.

Q&A with Aimee

How do you help buyers to find the right properties for them?
I listen to a buyer's needs. I ask a series of questions that helps me understand what a buyer is looking for. From there, I am able to send the client listings based on their needs and wants.
How do you make sure buyers get the best price for the property they are interested in?
" You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negoiate." I am a top negotiator. Negotiations is one of my top strengths. I also throroughly research the market to see what others homes in the area have sold for and what other concessions the seller has made.
What do you do to help market the properties your clients are selling?
I market to the masses. Instead of trying to find one buyer I try to find multiple buyers. I do this by networking with lots of agents that typically sell in the particular neighborhood. I also use the power of the internet and social networking.
How do you ensure your sellers get the highest price?
I don't tell sellers what they want to hear, I tell sellers what they need to hear. I know what buyers are looking for and I advise my sellers accordingly. This can be a range of things, updates, upgrades, simple furniture arrangement to staging. I am an excellent stager and do this for my clients free of charge.
What do you recommend sellers do to make sure their selling process is smooth?
I try to make the process as stress free as possible. I gather upfront information like their loan payoff so there are no surprises at closing. Then I prepare a seller net sheet. I also advise getting a home inspection prior to listing so again, no surprises. I properly market, price and stage the home so the client will get the fewest days on the market and the highest sales price.
