The People
Henry Shao is the CEO and founder of Movoto. His experience buying and selling
houses motivated him to find a better way for consumers to find all the information
they need and a great agent to work with. As a broker, he also still helps his personal
clients get into homes they love in the Bay Area, CA.
Mark Brandemuehl is the VP of Marketing at Movoto. He is a strong
believer in working with a great agent who is responsive and has been in enough
real estate transactions to understand what a value they are. Mark has been involved
in growing many companies from the ground floor and is passionate about getting
and keeping users on Movoto.
Michael Yao is the VP of Engineering at Movoto. He is passionate about not
only creating a website that is excellent in its function, but one that empowers
the homebuyer with information and is also fun to use. He leads our team of engineers
into every new launch area and makes every new feature a reality for the Movoto
user.
John Thomas is Movoto's Product Manager. John focuses on designing new features
for the website that help users research their local markets and find the perfect home.
He is passionate about continually improving Movoto's online experience to ensure
that it has great information while being easy to use.
The Details
Movoto was created in 2005. We are a licensed brokerage in several states and our
listing information comes from various Multiple Listing Services (MLS) where Movoto
is a member. We also have select information about new home communities.
